The Steam port

A port, with the label on the tin

Search 'is it on Steam' and the answer is yes, with a caveat you can see in the title: Mismatch Studio's page calls it a fan-made port. It is free. The content descriptor includes graphic violence. When I checked, the store showed 3,278 reviews and 95% positive. I will not turn that into a star rating on this site.

The author's own release remains the itch listing from 2016, and the browser copy on this site. Steam is a later package of the same short game, not a sequel and not a director's cut. The sequel question is answered here.

Two dates, neither invented

Steam prints 9 July 2019. A Fandom article prints June 9, 2019, which conflicts with the store’s date. I do not 'fix' the wiki by silent edit in my head. Both strings stay. An older note that said 10 July 2019 had no page behind it, so I dropped it.

Community guides on this app are part of the culture around the port. One of them, with a large view count, pretends to teach a good ending and then says you cannot. I discuss that text on the good-ending page so this page can stay about the store.

What I would install

If you want a desktop icon, the Steam page is a known store. If you want the browser game, you do not need Steam at all. Random repacks that say 'steam rip' are outside both of those. The file options I will actually point at are on download. The rest of the hosts are on where to play.

FAQ

Is it on Steam?

Yes. App 1103210, free, by Mismatch Studio. The store title includes [Fan-Made Port].

When did it launch?

The Steam store says 9 July 2019. The Fandom article says June 9, 2019. I print both and do not pick a winner.

Do the joke guides apply to the browser game?

They were posted on the Steam community for this app. The 'good ending' guide is a one-line joke. The browser build's single path is documented separately.
