About this guide
What this site is
webecomewhatwebehold.xyz is a guide to one game: how to play it, how many endings it has, where the title sentence comes from, and which links belong to Nicky Case. The pages are written and maintained here. Case's own pages are ncase.me and the itch listing.
The frame on the home page and on play is the public-domain game, revision ddf8e0d, not a remake. Credits inside the game still open the author's site and Patreon.
How to reach us
Email [email protected]. That mailbox can receive mail and we can reply from it. The contact page repeats the address. Privacy choices are on privacy. How sentences get onto the site is the editorial policy.
FAQ
Who runs this site?
An independent editor. Mail [email protected]. Nicky Case does not operate this domain.
Is the game yours?
No. The game is Nicky Case's, released to the public domain. We serve a fixed 2018 revision of that browser build.
How do you check facts?
Two independent public sources, or we say there is only one. The method is the editorial policy.
