A folder, not an engine you install
The repository is the game: scenes, peep behaviors, sprites, and sounds. On 7 November 2026 GitHub showed 1,477 stars and 336 forks. That is one reading of a public counter. The author's itch text says the project took about two months and that rights were waived.
Download instructions, and the warning about random APKs, are on download. Playing it without a download is play.
Why the ending pages cite the scenes
The third act hands off to credits, then a post-credits night, then a quote card, then a replay. Nothing in that chain asks which ending you earned. I use that order, plus PlayGamesDaily and a Steam guide, on endings. You do not need to read code to use those pages. The links are there for anyone who wants the files.
String packs are a separate topic. The 2018 file has nine languages and a working English assignment. The later file has eight languages, including Turkish and Persian, and forgets the assignment. Language-by-language status is on languages.
FAQ
What was it built with?
PIXI.js for the pictures and Howler.js for the audio, plus a small tween helper. The itch page and the repository README both describe the release as public domain.
Which revision does this site run?
ddf8e0d from 24 September 2018. It assigns the English string table and includes a Japanese pack. The default branch does not assign that table and opens in Persian.
Can I reuse the art?
The author marked the art CC0 and the code under the Unlicense. Sound files are mixed: some CC0, four of them CC BY. See the sounds page.
